Social Media In Real Life ~ Series 3~ The Amazing @RochelleVeturis

June 7, 2010

One of the things I love about Twitter is when people you have close ties to introduce you to fantastic people.  After a long phone call with my Twitter buddy Sean Gardener, @2morrowknight, he said that I must meet @RochelleVeturis while I was in California.  Sean had written a beautiful piece on Rochelle in his blog series #TwitterPowerhouses on the Huffington Post and made the intro for me via Twitter (of course).  As serendipity would have it, I was already planning on seeing my friend Neal Schaffer (@nealschaffer) and he and Rochelle were going to both be at the #OCTweetup fundraiser for Irving Schools.

Rochelle is a very special woman with a great heart and the kind of warmth you don’t experience everyday. It was such an honor to meet her and I look forward to getting to know her better.  See what she has to saying about her engagement hitting YouTube, charity and social media,  and advice for non-for-profits to find that special influencer to help further their cause.

Rochelle is as real on Twitter as they get. She is the gracious person there that she is in the video and she does use her influence for good. That makes her worth while to follow and interact with on and off line.

Thank you for all the hard work you do for charities in SoCal.

Rochelle is such a refreshing presence and I have to agree that when our words, actions and choices are based in love than we can share all of our opinions and causes in ways that bring unity instead of division. Way to go, gals!

Great interview with the incredible Rochelle!! Through Twitter and talking with her on the phone, I feel like Rochelle is a close friend and business associate….and I can’t wait to meet her! As other have commented, she is genuine; and in today’s world, that is not only rare, but very valuable.

The tools we have at our disposal with social media are incredible; and sometimes you will meet and interact with someone like Rochelle. Genuine and with a huge heart for others.

    Loved it!

I’m happy every time someone writes something about @RochelleVeturis. She is a gem when it comes to PR, Social Media, Business, Friendships, Causes, Compassion, and the list goes on. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her in person at many educational workshops and Tweetups, and let me tell you – you can feel the warmth and the genuineness when you step in the room and know she’s in the vicinity. I highly recommend working with Rochelle in any capacity – you will walk away with nothing but value. Love ya, Rochelle!

Thank you @bethebutterfly for posting such a wonderful interview with Rochelle. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with Rochelle and she is truly a social media expert. I totally agree with everyone’s comments. Rochelle is real, fantastically generous, and truly spreads joy to every life she touches.

Rochelle is an incredible friend to have. I’m inspired by the energy Rochelle keeps contained, as she’s always willing to go “above and beyond” when she takes on a cause, an event, or even to make you feel welcome.

I look forward to continue seeing Rochelle share her insights on life in general :-)
